Q: What is required to make a reservation?
A: When you find the property of your choice you can either book the property online or call us at 1-866-526-3558. When making your reservation we require a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is processed 30 days prior to check-in.
Q: Do you offer Travel Insurance?
A: You are a valued guest and we want to do everything possible to make your trip enjoyable and worry free. Because the unforeseen and unexpected can occur before you leave or when you are away from home, we recommend CSA's Guest Cancellation Insurance Plan. For more information on what this insurance covers please Click Here. Your Travel Insurance payment will be processed when you reserve your vacation home. Q: Cancellation and No Refund Policy
A: Cancellation after confirmation of booking results in forfeiture of any and all collected money, except the guest's security deposit and cleaning fee (if applicable) if full payment has been made. However, after cancellation for any reason, if a portion of the rental time is re-booked at the same rate, a pro-rata refund will be made for those dates re-booked. All refunds of rental services payments, whether complete or pro-rata, will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee. To protect against cancellations caused by certain unforeseen events, such as illness, we recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to assure refund of deposits paid.
Q: How will I receive my confirmation and arrival instructions from Meadows Mountain Vacation rentals?
A: All confirmation and arrival instructions will be sent via email. To make certain you receive these emails, please adjust your spam filter to add the domain www.renthighlandsnc.com to your list of accepted email addresses. You will receive a reservation confirmation including directions and arrival instructions via email within minutes of making your reservation. If you have not received these emails, please contact us at 866-526-3558.
Q: What are the check-in /check-out times?
A: Most properties will be available for check-in at 3:00 pm. An early check-in may be possible, some units have an additional fee for a guaranteed early check-in. Check out time is 10:00am. A vacation home requires more time to clean than a hotel room
Q: How do we get keys when we arrive?
A: Key will be ready for you at our office at 535B Main Street after 4pm on the day of your check-in. If you will be later than 5 pm on check-in day, please let our office know so that arrangements can be made for you to get keys.
Q: How many people are allowed to stay in each home?
A: Occupancy may not exceed what is posted for each property on that unit's webpage. Maximum occupancy includes any infants and/or children.
Q: Are the vacation homes/condos cleaned daily?
No, the vacation home is cleaned before your arrival and after your departure. Any stay longer than one week, also includes a mid-stay cleaning each week. A Mid-stay Clean includes: changing linens and towels, cleaning all bathrooms, kitchen area, vacuum and dusting, sweeping and mopping.
Q: Are we expected to clean when we leave?
A: Your cleaning fee covers a deep clean prior to and after your visit however guests who are respectful of the properties are appreciated.
Q: Are the properties Non-Smoking?
Yes, all of our properties are strictly Non-Smoking.
Q: Is the kitchen fully stocked?
A: Yes, in many instances stocked better than the average home.
Q: Are linens provided?
A: Yes, all linens are provided.
Q: Is there a washer & dryer available for use?
A: Yes all our properties have a washer & dryer available for the guests use.
Q: Does the home or condo have a TV/DVD player?
A: We require that all rentals have a television in the living room and at least one more for the master bedroom. Many of our homes have more than two and all of the homes have a DVD player.
Q: Does my unit have internet access?
A: Yes, we require that all homes are equipped with internet not all are wireless however.
Q: Can we bring our dog?
A: A few of our properties allow a small pet. Check each property description for details.
